Method:

  • Preheat oven to 220 degrees. Stir flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt, then rub in vegan butter to resemble breadcrumbs.

  • Stir in sugar and add buttermilk and egg alternative.

  • Bring together and roll out 2cm thick. Cut approx 12 scones and brush with some buttermilk.

  • Bake 10-12mins and leave to cool.
